I am passionate about helping people move into their best, most productive and loving self. As a psychotherapist/life abundance coach with 25+ years of experience, my specialties include reducing stress/anxiety; finding meaning/purpose in life and clarifying priorities; and working with Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents. I use body centered techniques - EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), EMDR, Parts Models, Mindfulness and Self Compassion - working with people who are willing to change themselves as opposed to trying to change others in order to achieve a sense of balance, wholeness and purpose.
I start with teaching techniques to help calm the body because it directly effects the ability to access the clear, confident and creative parts of you. Typical issues include putting everyone else before themselves, feeling over-responsible for taking care of everything/everyone, and feeling under-appreciated for the work they've done.
I have a very warm, genuine and empathic style with an irreverent sense of humor! My life experience as a mother of two young adults and a 30+ year relationship with my husband gives me compassion for the struggles people go through and their courage in taking the risks to overcome them.
