Life transitions, chronic stress, and the complexity of relationships can often leave us feeling hopeless, stuck, or alone. As a marriage and family therapist with strong training in relationship issues and a trauma perspective, my main goal in therapy is to help you feel safe and empowered in addressing personal or relationship concerns. I help couples, families, and individuals with many issues including emotional connection, communication, boundaries, and grief/loss. I specialize in working with couples with an overall goal to find connection or to understand and cope with trauma or mental/emotional roadblocks together.
I grew up hiking, drumming, reading fiction, and dreaming of being an NBA star. I am currently an aspiring husband/father learning address my own fears and anxieties. I am a Christian open to the nuances of spirituality, and I believe that our unique contexts and experiences have infinite complexity and value.
You are not alone. I'm eager to listen and make space for the heaviness of life's stress or the tension of seemingly impassible roadblocks with those you care most about. Seeing progress takes courage, but it is possible with time, continual effort, and support. I invite you to continue in that courage by reaching out today.
