When difficult personal and family issues occur, working with a well-trained therapist can be very helpful. I am an experienced clinician with a genuine interest in the well-being of my clients. My background as a pediatrician, combined with extensive training in psychotherapy, including psychoanalytic psychotherapy, Play Therapy, and CBT enable me to look at the “whole” person who comes to me, taking into account family dynamics, development, temperament, as well as health related factors. My clients range in age from children to adolescents to older adults.
Working together, my clients and I evaluate their challenges and goals and work to bring about specific changes. Believing that the therapeutic relationship is crucial to the success of therapy, my manner is warm, accepting, and empathic. I seek to create a relationship in which clients feel comfortable and supported.
