I am a licensed Psychologist practicing in New York City and Westchester. I earned my PhD as well as three Masters degrees (Master of Art, Master of Science, and Master of Philosophy) at Columbia University in the City of New York. I completed my clinical internship at Jacobi Medical Center. In addition to seeing patients in my private practice, I worked as a Clinical Researcher at New York State Psychiatric Institute, where I investigated the functional organization and structure of the human brain for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
In my practice, many are going through life transitions, such as marriage, becoming parents, immigration, and acculturation. I also specialize in working with those who have experienced egregious events, help them confront painful problems in their daily lives, and support them in making purposeful changes to achieve lasting happiness.
I am trained in several techniques of psychotherapy, including IPT, DBT, CBT, psychodynamic psychotherapy, Prolonged Exposure therapy and more, so have a wide breadth of tools to use to customize treatment to the individual needs of each patient. I am fully fluent in Hebrew and practice bilingual therapy.
