Esther assists clients in untangling blurry webs of feelings, thoughts, and interactions in order to bring clarity to issues that may be the source of great pain and dissatisfaction. Esther provides a safe, empathetic environment that allows clients to feel heard and supported, especially when struggling with marital/relationship problems, depression/anxiety, trauma, and addiction/codependency.

Esther employs trauma-informed strategies that help the brain integrate new neuropathways. These methods help to reprocess disturbing memories, access healing, improve symptoms, and cultivate more secure attachment styles. Esther welcomes clergy or leaders in the helping professions who may benefit from critical support in a confidential counseling setting.

Esther’s varied background in engineering, the corporate world, and nonprofits enable her to understand a broad range of life-work contexts. As a daughter of Taiwanese immigrants, she is also able to facilitate exploration of Asian American bicultural identity/family issues.
