Parenting Compass is a monthly support group providing insight, education, and collaboration for parents and caretakers. This group offers support and direction for parents during their children's adolescent and young adult years. Parenting Compass is meant for all parents/caretakers raising adolescents and young adult children between the ages of 12 and 21. The group explores different topic each month, including adolescent development and typical vs problem behaviors, increasing positive family communication, setting limits, and reducing destructive emotional behaviors—in kids AND parents!
Parenting Compass is a series of four, one-hour meetings held on the following Wednesdays: Jan. 12, Feb. 9, March 9 and April 13, 2022. There will be two options to meet: Virtual Support Group, held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. via Zoom. In-Person Group: held 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the St. Peters LifeWork office, 5600 Mexico Rd., Ste 12, St. Peters, MO 63376.
