I am Gloria Ayala-St.Charles, a National Certified Counselor licensed in Florida. I specialize in Multicultural, Postpartum and Family/Marital/Parenting issues. I am bilingual (Spanish) and have worked with clients of various religious, spiritual and ethnic backgrounds including Latinos, African Americans, and West Indians for 25+ years. I work with children, teens and adults. I customize my approach with each client based upon their specific problem(s), their lifestyle, their support system, their health and nutrition thus connecting mind/body/spirit. I include partners, spouses and children whenever possible.
I am a therapist who nurtures people's strengths, and provides the skills and knowledge that clients can use on a day-to-day basis. Clients can then identify and change negative thinking and behaviors so they can achieve the inner balance, peace and harmony they desire and deserve.
Trained by Post Institute (family centered approach) I am one of their certified BCI (Beyond Consequences) Parenting Instructors. I am certified in Hypnotherapy. I specialize in multicultural counseling, relationships and families. I also and work with women experiencing pregnancy issues and postpartum depression and/or anxiety.
