I specialize in individual, couples, and group psychotherapy with adolescents, adults, and older adults. I operate from a psychodynamic (relational) framework, although I have the training and experience to adapt my style to best suit each client's individual needs. I encourage curiosity in the therapy room with an emphasis on reserving judgment; I believe that through increased awareness of ourselves, as opposed to labeling our thoughts, feelings, and actions as good or bad, the more we can grow. I strive to create a safe, intimate environment that balances nurturing and support with challenging one's preconceived notions and beliefs.
I am especially interested in relationship issues, be they intimate relationships, friendships, or something more undefined. I also have a special interest in working with clients of the LGBTQIA+ community but welcome all individuals and couples with an interest in exploring, learning, and growing.
