Welcome! It is great that you are doing your research to find a counselor that will be a good fit for you. I have past experience working with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, including residential, outpatient, and an active military base. Individuals, couples, and families have utilized my support to assist with concerns of anxiety, depression, major transitions, trauma, relationships, and substance use. Currently, I am accepting ADULT clients for individual teletherapy only. I do hope to have a physical space in Valley Center, CA in the near future.
I view counseling as a relationship that requires valuable aspects from both sides. You are the expert on YOU and can provide information about your past experiences and your goals for the future. While I can provide a safe and welcoming environment and share various skills and techniques that I have learned in my studies and clinical experiences.
Although I do work with all adults, I have a specialty in working with active duty, veterans, first responders and their family members. I have both personal and clinical experience in this area.
