Hi, I’m Jaci Hynes (pronounced Jackie). I do my best work with individuals at the intersection of Queer, Transgender, and Neurodivergent. I utilize lived experience as a late diagnosed Neurodivergent person, and have had success working with self-diagnosed Autistic folks, as well as non-binary/trans, or otherwise queer individuals. I enjoy helping clients unpack and grow through their family of origin issues, those who have experienced oppression and trauma, and people who are deconstructing their faith and healing from religious abuse. I have experience counseling conversion therapy survivors.
I offer a gentle place to land, where your feelings are valid and your difficult beliefs about yourself are challenged. When we work together, I can help you integrate your views of yourself, develop an understanding of your identity, and practice self-compassion - which I believe is the key to healing toxic shame. Together we’ll navigate your needs.
