When a significant person in our life dies, our grief can feel as big as the ocean. Many of us feel lonely and isolated in our grief. Yet experts agree: We are not meant to grieve alone. A supportive group can be like a lifeboat as we swim through the choppy waves of grief and loss in the aftermath of the death of a loved one.
