We try to live lives that make sense and matter to us, but life changes can make you question who you are, what your life is about, your expectations for the future, and your relationships. I provide individual and couples therapy focusing on grief, illness, trauma, employment change, becoming a parent, relationship struggles, and other challenging life events and transitions. I will work with you to support your well-being as we find meaningful ways to move through these struggles. You can expect our work together to be active and reflective.

I use meaning-oriented (narrative constructivist), solution-focused, mindfulness-based, and cognitive behavioral approaches. This means that we will explore what matters for you and also find practical ways of supporting you. I practice in Austin, Texas where I am Provisionally Licenced Psychologist Trainee.

I have worked for many years as a researcher, educator, and mental health professional. In these roles I have seen the immense human capacity for emerging from struggle, confusion, emptiness, and darkness. Everyone's path is unique, and we will work compassionately and actively to find yours.
