I have 20 years of experience in the mental health field providing treatment to children, adolescents, and adults in both an agency and private practice setting. My background also includes work in family, couples, group and individual counseling as well as providing Intensive In-Home and Crisis Services as well. Need help managing a mood disorder? My particular areas of strength lie with treatment of teens and adults as well as well as Mood Disorders, Grief, PTSD/Trauma and Anxiety disorders. I have also been trained in various treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, Trauma Informed Care, Crisis Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. I also work with LGBTQ issues.
I realize it is important to meet clients where they are at. Therefore, treatment modalities utilized will be based on client's diagnosis, needs and treatment goals. I also believe in using a bio-psycho-social approach to help the client create a balance in the various areas of their life. I look forward to hearing from you!
