My goal is to help you find the confidence and strength you need to handle life’s problems by teaching coping skills and strategies in a warm, caring atmosphere. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to treat adolescents, college students, and adults experiencing a variety of issues related to anxiety, depression, and stress. I have been in private practice for over 10 years and I believe my success lies in my deep care and commitment to all my patients, my enthusiasm for explaining therapy concepts and techniques, and my ability to put patients at ease by being straightforward and having a sense of humor.
I am an expert in the treatment of depression, panic attacks, OCD, generalized anxiety/worry, social anxiety, separation anxiety, specific phobias/fears (including emetophobia),insomnia, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and issues with grief and loss. I also teach communication and social skills to help people improve their relationships.
