I believe in the power of psychology to restore health and happiness to those whose lives have been overcome by distress. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression and interpersonal problems associated with both every day life stress as well as with a history of trauma. I work with adolescents and adults in an individual therapy setting. In addition, I provide psychological assessment and consultation for educational and psychiatric purposes.

Before starting private practice, I worked for The Women's Center in Vienna. During my time there, I gained extensive experience working with individuals suffering from the effects of trauma, abuse and domestic violence. I also developed expertise in treating interpersonal and personality issues which negatively impact various aspects of life functioning.

My approach is strengths-based and holistic, combining elements of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and client-centered therapies. I work to establish a trusting, collaborative relationship with clients through which we work together to accomplish therapeutic goals.
