My passion is providing therapy to individuals and families to help them have greater joy in their life and relationships and to overcome painful feelings and life experiences. Have you ever felt a negative emotion for long periods of time? Anger, sadness, worry, fear, guilt, or shame? Have these feelings been combined with negative thoughts that play over and over in your mind, no matter how hard you try not to think about them? Did these thoughts and feelings begin after a life event or experience. Or, did they seem to come out of nowhere? Either way, if you are looking for support and relief I am here to help.
With almost 20 years of experience practicing therapy I have helped multiple individuals and families grow, heal, and feel better. I am familiar with deep painful emotions and negative life experiences. I use an insightful approach in therapy to help bring awareness to thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may not be easily recognized or understood.
A strong, trusting relationship with the therapist is the most important thing to have in order to achieve the full benefits that therapy has to offer. I believe this begins when one feels that the therapist has a real understanding of what they are going through. I work from a non-judgmental and curious mindset to develop this relationship.
