Feeling overwhelmed, anxious and not being able to relax are all too common today. We often feel the need to take on much too much, and forget to prioritize ourselves. This can manifest in fatigue, anxiety and a sense of overwhelm when facing even the most basic of our daily tasks. The roots of these emotions and body responses may lie in unresolved issues from our past, the absence of needed skills, or may be a symptom of other changes we need to make to live our best lives. I support sensitive individuals in identifying their needs, gaining skills they need to succeed and making changes to live a life full of vibrancy and joy.
I have 15 years of experience as a therapist, supporting individuals from a variety of backgrounds. I utilize mindfulness and other skill-building techniques to help calm the mind and body. I also practice Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced-based treatment for anxiety, symptoms of PTSD, and other conditions.
