You and I work together to bring attention and understanding to complexities of who you are and what you've learned to endure and exist around. Often this looks like exploring trauma but also it can look like exploring the defense mechanism or shame that are in the way of communicating, living, and connecting in the most sincere, genuine, and joyful ways you can. Sometimes we know whats wrong, sometimes we have no idea, but ultimately what matters most is the relationship that you and I build and the trust that we form. Our job is to identify and extrapolate the unhelpful or defensive patterns that are keeping you feeling

stuck and in turn encourage you to use that awareness to help find new ways of communicating your wants, needs and unresolved pain. We achieve healing together, through our ability to relearn how to trust, to communicate, and how to show and express love. The way we work together is genuine, attachment focused, and rooted in holistic and authentic care.

I often find myself working with individuals who have experienced trauma, family of origin wounds, and attachment trauma. A lot of my clients often identify as "the therapist friend," or as people who are too self aware to help. Many of my clients are also navigating depression, anxiety, as well as their relationships to eating and/or substance use.
