As a seasoned psychotherapist, I provide my clients with confidential therapy to assist them with managing the challenges they are facing. My advanced clinical training at NYC's Ackerman Institute for the Family has shaped my treatment approach. While I work extensively with individuals, I have an expertise in working with couples and families as well.
When dealing with children, I typically bring family members in to shed light on current challenges and work together towards a solution. With individuals, I focus on how one's experiences in their family-of-origin impact the challenges faced in the present.
I assist couples to increase positive communication and connection while deepening their understanding of characteristics that contribute to their impasses and what strengths the couple has that can be used to enhance their relationship. I have worked with clients from diverse cultures, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds.
