Any “symptom" (depression, anxiety, compulsions, etc.) is a highly creative and expressive way to make a plea to be heard and addressed. I love to help people learn to "listen" to what they are actually trying to express so that they can go forward with the tools they need to care for themselves and get the connection they need from their relationships.
