I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 28 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in the treatment of the eating disorders, anxiety, depression, neuro-spectrum disorders, ADHD, young adult issues, men's issues, PTSD, sexual abuse/trauma, self-inflicted violence, and dual diagnosis.
My approach is eclectic, utilizing proven treatment modalities such as Neuro-linguistic Programming, hypnosis, and other accepted strategies. Philosophically, I come from a background of Psychodynamic and Adlerian education. I am a native to the Northern Virginia area, residing here for over 45 years.
My office atmosphere is casual and comfortable, yet focused. I am solution oriented in my counseling and do not waste the time and money of those who are seeking resolution to whatever issues they are facing. When counseling children and adolescents, the parents are very involved throughout the entire process.
