Nesting Communities Counseling and Art Therapy PLLC is about creating community and a safe space for art-making, trauma work, and process through open-ended counseling. I have a passion for helping children and adults who have experienced trauma, domestic violence, generational trauma. I am able to currently provide individual sessions in my office or telehealth. I would love getting to know you and working with you.
I use art as a means of communication and processing. I have an eclectic approach and try to meet people where they are at. My approaches include Mindfulness, CBT, and DBT into my counseling sessions. I believe in unconditional-positive regard and acceptance of people as human beings. If you don't want to do art, and you just want to talk, that is okay too.
This is a time of great uncertainty right now, and I'm here to help you navigate through this difficult time. I have provided Art Therapy and counseling services in domestic violence shelters, residential treatment centers, homeless shelters, primary care facilities, and in-home family services through the courts' systems.
