EMDR Trained and a Certified Irlen Screener, I have worked in the mental health field since 2006. I earned my Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Texas School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, and a Bachelor's Degree from Saint Edward's University. I am a credentialed health service psychologist with the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and also the founder and owner of Psychological Services of North Texas.
My previous experience includes facilitating weekly therapeutic groups to children who have experienced and/or witnessed family violence, and provided children with crisis intervention, safety planning, child play therapy, and Rogerian therapy to treat a multitude of childhood issues, anxiety disorders, and abuse issues.
My specializations include psychological assessment and treatment for a variety of disorders as well as pre-surgical psychological evaluations for bariatric and spinal cord stimulator patients. I am particularly passionate about working with survivors of physical or sexual abuse, domestic violence, as well as with individuals facing LGBTQ+ issues.
