Psychotherapy can feel like a daunting journey to start but my goal is to help you feel supported, seen and understood each step of the way. Together, we will explore in detail what brings you to seek therapy and identify the problems that have become overwhelming, pervasive or limiting for you. I tailor my approach to each patient's individual needs and together we will work not only to reduce symptoms but to also address the underlying causes.
I am a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental psychotherapist with advanced post-graduate training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Family conflict, relationships, trauma, work stress, anxiety, difficulty managing moods/depression, body image, eating disorders, and perfectionism are among the issues I work with in practice.
I believe therapy is a process grounded in a high level of trust, respect and humility. Although I bring a broad range of clinical experience and training to my practice, I deeply believe that you are the expert of your life.
