I am a licensed clinical social worker and certified yoga instructor with particular interest in the way the mind and body influence our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. My approach therapy includes an orientation rooted in psychodynamic, attachment, relational, somatic, internal family systems and strengths-based theories and models. I collaborate with clients to address struggles with depression, anxiety, trauma processing and life transition. I also work with clients with mood disorders, ADHD and relationship issues. I see children, adolescents, adults and families in my practice.
Therapy sessions are nurturing and supportive as clients and I work together to remain present through the processing of painful thoughts and feelings, develop useful coping skills and new patterns of thinking, and to foster self-awareness and acceptance on the path to change.

Embrace Your Body Yoga
This is a yoga class that focuses on nurturing the needs of clients with eating disorders. Focus is on gentle yoga practice, restorative poses to promote relaxation, body awareness and mindfulness meditation. Yogic philosophy is woven throughout the class to encourage awareness, acceptance and care for the whole self.

Social Skills Group
This social skills group is geared toward children in the 5-9 year old range. In addition to practice with appropriate social skills and interaction, clients are introduced to mindfulness practice, yoga poses, games and activities geared toward self-understanding, self-expression and the building of communication and relational skills.
