I work with my clients using evidence-based, solution-oriented therapy. We will work on your goals to help you gain skills and tools in order to become your own therapist. You will identify your beliefs and challenge yourself to examine if they are no longer working for you. I believe it is necessary to identify how we think and feel about life stresses and situations in order to learn how to restructure our beliefs and adjust them into our changing contexts. The goal is to learn to become more forgiving of yourself, others, and the world around you.
I am experienced in working with adults, adolescents, and couples. My work has focused on issues related to depression and anxiety, work and school stress, as well as relationship difficulties including break-ups, alternative relationship styles, and sexual concerns.
