Making the decision to begin therapy is a courageous one. You may feel excited and perhaps nervous at the same time. I have over 30 years of experience and I provide a safe, comfortable and confidential environment for you to talk about your concerns and therapy goals. I use a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness to help you reach your goals, feel more connected, and have a more meaningful life. I also provide a free weekly newsletter covering a mental health topic, coping skill or mindfulness practice.
My areas of specialization are Anxiety Disorders, Trauma, and working with children who have issues with anxiety. I also work with clients experiencing depression or who are facing life changes or stressors. I am an EMDR provider for clients who have been affected by trauma.
I am scheduling new in-person or virtual appointments after April 6th, 2024. I do not bill insurance but offer a much lower fee of $60 per hour. This may be less than your out of pocket expense if using insurance and a deductible has to be met first.
