I work with adults and adolescents who are coping with various concerns such as depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress disorder. I also work effectively with individuals experiencing situational stressors such as bereavement, relationship conflicts, or loss. In a supportive and confidential environment, I help clients reduce emotional distress, understand problematic behaviors, and develop tools to improve their quality of life.
Many clients with whom I work also have a history of substance use. Sessions often focus on the origination of chemical use and subsequent triggers of drug and/or alcohol abuse. Treatment of pain management may address potential addiction to prescribed medication.
I have extensive experience treating individuals with issues concerning domestic violence, sexual offenses, & other legal matters, including incarcerated male and female populations. In addition, I have completed psychological evaluations for Fresno County Family & Dependency Courts and have experience completing numerous risk assessments for other courts.
