Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship difficulties, or feel lost or hopeless, some type of past trauma may be spilling over into your present life. But you don't need to be held hostage by the past. Help is available! And the most important ingredient in your healing and growth is the relationship you create with your therapist. Why? Because the emotional wounds, behaviors and beliefs that keep us stuck occurred in our relationship with others, which means healing also needs to occur in relationship. This is precisely what the counseling and psychotherapy services I offer are all about.
While cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches to therapy can be valuable tools for change, the healing relationship I create with clients is what's had the most profound impact on my clients' mental and emotional well-being. This is why I work from an integrative, relational, attachment-focused, psychodynamic perspective.
This means that I don't provide "cookie-cutter" therapy. Through the healing relationship we create, you can learn to transform any thoughts, beliefs, or behaviors that are keeping you from achieving your goals. Our relationships are what give life meaning and joy. If you're ready to make yours the best they can be, please contact me today!
