Poet Anne Sexton wrote, "That the worst of anyone Can be, finally, An accident of hope." If you're here, you probably feel at your worst. Maybe a traumatic event has left you feeling broken and lost. Perhaps what you've been doing to cope just isn't working anymore, or is doing more harm than good. Whatever your reasons, I'm glad you're thinking about therapy. This process can be scary and takes hard work, and I welcome anyone courageous enough to seek out hope.

I am trained in EMDR therapy, brainspotting, DBT, and use other modalities including mindfulness. My background in crisis intervention, sexual abuse, and domestic violence helps me work well with survivors of trauma. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ community and am passionate about helping clients heal from queer trauma.

I may be a good fit for you if you’re looking for a therapist who is genuine, calm, and not afraid to use humor. My goal is to create a secure, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment in which you feel you can reveal even the “worst” parts of yourself. I will meet you where you’re at to help you find hope.

This is a 6-week closed support group for nonbinary identifying individuals. The unique systemic stressors and lived experiences of nonbinary folx are the focus of this experiential and psychoeducational group work. Intersectional experiences, psychoeducation, resources, and addressing disordered eating as a part of gender expression will be explored. Participants will gain more information, increased sense of community, and valuable coping skills. This group is co-facilitated by LGBTQ-identifying therapists.
