I focus on building rapport and making clients feel comfortable, knowing that the therapeutic relationship can be so integral in facilitating change.
With individual therapy, I utilize attachment theory, CBT techniques, and mindfulness. I specialize in maternal mental health as well as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, perfectionism, self-esteem, and life transitions. When working with couples, I utilize Gottman techniques and EFT to address issues such as communication, parenting issues, and trust.
I believe that therapy can cover a wide range of emotions as we progress through your journey—it’s ok to cry in therapy, but it’s also ok to laugh. I look to help my clients break destructive patterns, work through life’s challenges, and become the best possible versions of themselves.
