As a trauma specialist, I work with my clients to heal the impact of distressing experiences. Trauma is much more common than most of us would like to believe. If you find that you often feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected you may be living with the impact of traumatic experiences. Together we will get to know your brain and nervous system, and find ways to manage these symptoms more effectively while we simultaneously work to better understand the experiences that caused them.
Since 2006 I have been working in the field of trauma treatment, and in 2013 I became licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of Utah. With over 250 hours of training in the field of trauma treatment, I specialize in the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to treat the impact of post-traumatic stress disorder.
Living with the pain of traumatic experiences impacts every area of our lives. If you would like to explore how your past may be impacting your ability to live fully in the present, reach out and connect with me. We will work together to find the right combination of strategies to support you in living your best life.
