Through therapeutic alliance and connection, a person can develop skills and competencies that promote higher levels of functioning and wellbeing. It is this partnership that can bring a sense of awareness and give us courage to face challenges and difficulties that we encounter within our daily lives.
My focus is developing this trusting bond to explore the past and it's impact on the individual and provide supportive therapy to achieve symptom management and desired outcomes. Services would help individuals/families who are dealing with challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, family stressors/conflict, interpersonal/relational concerns.
Trained in trauma focused- cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, trauma informed care, EMDR, violence prevention, and family of origin work. Serving individuals, youth and families to reach desired goals, management of symptoms and developing competencies that will support them within their relationships and promote healing from any adverse experiences.
