Bringing awareness to the somatic experience in the here-and-now can allow us to not only deepen our understanding of ourselves but also guide us towards authenticity in relationships and healing. As an experienced Gestalt therapist with years of working with individuals, I am offering this experiential group to accommodate more people seeking to work through symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Growing up in a home with a parent battling alcoholism can perpetuate a sense of unpredictability & leave kids wanting a more stereotypical childhood. This often results in children shouldering shame & responsibility, feeling isolated & downplaying their needs to cope. Suppressed emotions like sadness, fear & anger may resurface in adulthood, interfering in relationships with others. As an adult, your safety is no longer dependent on the same parent. This group aims to support you in learning to let more emotionally available people into your life. In group therapy you can explore ways to establish better boundaries & protect a sense of inner peace.
