I give you as my client compassion, honesty, respect, and unconditional positive regard. After twenty four years as a therapist I have enjoyed witnessing my clients transform their lives, freeing themselves from self destructive patterns of thinking and behaviors and recreating a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. I use an eclectic approach which is individualized and highly effective.

Healing trauma and self limiting behavioral patterns is a specialty and I am trained in Heart Centered Clinical Hypnosis from the Cleveland Clinic, as well as EMDR and DBT. These modalities and others can effectively resolve life long struggles. I also have extensive training in couples counseling, meditation/mindfulness training and stress reduction.

I model for my clients the joy and adventure of living a full and meaningful life after many years of my own personal growth and healing. I greatly enjoy and value my relationships with clients They inspire me with their willingness, honesty and courage. We learn and evolve together.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

On going co-facilitated group since 2010 where we practice mindfulness meditation and stress reduction. Mindfulness is a practice of retraining the brain to focus on the present without judgment by engaging senses and deeper awareness.It helps with a multitude of problems such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, irritability and enhances ability to enjoy life to the fullest. We use different experiential exercises to center, focus, relax and gain greater awareness in our daily life.
