Therapy is a collaborative journey of self discovery in that insight is developed and self awareness is increased. Along the journey, ways of becoming unstuck are discovered and life situations become more manageable through the development of new perspectives and life skills. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I approach clients from a nervous system, attachment and trauma informed perspective. I work with individuals who want to live a more embodied, authentic life and have experienced developmental trauma, struggles with self-esteem, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and sexual and/or gender identity issues.
I enjoy helping those who chose to work with me develop self understanding and awareness, and along the journey understanding that each one of us is responsible for creating our circumstances in life and finding meaning in our experiences. I offer somatic touch therapy to help bring about regulation to my client's nervous system when appropriate.
