English
| español In my private practice, I aim to help professionals and young adults with their personal and professional struggles, navigating life transitions, intersecting identities and family difficulties. I am one of the few mental health providers in the DC area trained by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and prior to private practice, I worked at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles providing mental health support to families touched by Diabetes. I was also trained by the Harvard Medical School in Global Mental Health Trauma and Recovery.
My hope is to help individuals improve their quality of life and lead meaningful lives. Some of my specialties include working with first generation college students, young professionals, adjustment to life transitions, diabetes burnout, stress and anxiety, sadness and depression, and trauma . I also complete immigration evaluations.
The therapeutic relationship between a psychotherapist and the individual is very important in order to make progress. If you decide to reach out to us, the intake coordinator, will follow up with you to coordinate a phone consultation. Looking forward to connecting!
