Are you a parent looking and searching for answers? Are you and your family struggling, and it seems that no matter what you do, it isn’t enough? Facing these concerns can not only be stressful and overwhelming, but also lonely and at times, hopeless. It is my passion and calling to work with children and adolescents from ages 0-14, in addition to providing support to their families. As I work with you, we will focus together on overcoming the struggles and obstacles that you and your child are experiencing. In therapy, connection and trust are key when working together.
Thus, I believe it is necessary to work together in a space that is tailored to YOU and YOUR child's needs. I believe the parents/guardians are the expert of their child. My responsibility is to work collaboratively with you while also providing support and evidenced-based care in a non-judgmental manner for your child.
Some families worry that nothing is getting done in counseling. I want you to know that when I meet with you and your child, we learn skills through activities and techniques that are personalized for you both. We create goals together, focus on interventions that harness yours and your child's strengths, and also address the struggles you’re all facing.
