We can identify relationships and patterns that keep you feeling stuck and identify your path to wellness.
I use the Trauma Resiliency Model which is a somatic based treatment for reprocessing trauma. I am also trained in Brainspotting, another method for reprocessing trauma that becomes stuck in the brain and body. I believe that talking about a trauma helps some, but going into the somatic experience, the felt experience, provides the deepest healing.
Often times people can experience feelings of shame and anxiety, self doubt and fear that get int the way of the life they want and see for themselves. Therapy provides a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space for healing. "Vulnerability is the antidote to shame"- Brené Brown
