I believe that much of what society labels as “mental illness” can be boiled down to normal biological processes. Nervous system dysregulation, imbalances in neurotransmitters, and real-world stressors can manifest as anxiety, depression, and unhealthy coping mechanisms. These are symptoms of the problem that do not define us and need to be depathologized.
As a scientist with a Ph.D in molecular and neurobiology, I offer a unique perspective as a therapist. Combining my deep scientific knowledge with my passion for therapy gives me a distinctive viewpoint as a clinician. My work is rooted in analytic thought and neuroscience, and I use this as a platform to customize treatment plans for each client and couple.
