Many of us experience times of uncertainty. The challenges we confront may seem overwhelming, but we don't have to face them alone. There is very little that happens to us in life from which we cannot recover and rebuild. Therapy is one way to do so. Therapy involves a special conversation from which new possibilities emerge. Our sufferings initially may seem like unwelcomed guests but also invite us to the doorstep of love and healing. I am integrative and depth-oriented. Integrative therapy is a progressive form of therapy that combines different therapeutic tools and approaches to fit the needs of the individual client.
We carefully consider what the individual is ready & able to do with courage & compassion. We address situations tactically to lower distress, which then opens the possibility for depth work. When possible, we collaboratively explore past experiences as they impact the present. This often manifests as symbols, dreams & meanings attached to our experiences.
When working with couples, I utilize an emotionally focused couples therapy (EFT) framework. I am committed to helping people through the process of healing and growing. When we find ourselves (feeling) trapped, it's important to have others around who will stand by us through the creative, productive and at-times challenging process of becoming free.
