Hello! I work with adults and undergraduate/graduate students who present with issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, and identity/existential concerns. I value a holistic perspective when treating psychological issues and offer therapy that creates constructive and meaningful change. My expertise creates the container for our collaborative relationship; you bring self-knowledge and a vision of what you want your life to be.
I use a contemporary psychodynamic lens in exploring unconscious patterns occurring in relationship with self and others as well as techniques from DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), & other relational models. I identify as hapa/Japanese-American and am passionate about matters of identity, race, culture, and social justice. My sun and moon are in cancer.
