For many, deciding to meet with a therapist is a big decision. Often times it is seen as a last resort. Talking to family and friends is not always the preferred way of dealing with a situation and that is when talking to a professional is something to consider. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, mood disorders, grief, PTSD, family dynamic problems, couples, parent-child relationships and more. I strive to help my clients learn the skills to work with whatever life throws at them.

I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in a variety of settings which include a clinic for the severely mentally ill, the City of Houston health department, a substance abuse rehabilitation center and a private practice. I often use a solution-focused approach and I take into account family systems and dynamics.
