We are not living in easy times but in my practice I help people use therapy to create a better life. Many people struggle with anxiety or depression. Some have lives complicated by ADHD. In my practice I see clients who are trapped in a toxic workplace, looking to change careers, or dating the wrong person. Others are challenged by the mental illness of a family member or loved one, or they are navigating the complexities of being a first or second generation American. People may be aware of their self defeating patterns of behavior but need strategies to reboot, feel agency, develop coping strategies and reclaim their lives.
Therapy is a conversation — you do most of the talking but I am not a silent partner. Therapy is detective work: who are you, how do you think, what shaped you? If you struggle with communication you will learn better listening skills and if you spiral from anxiety there are strategies to stop. You will learn to believe in yourself and your strengths.
My clients have sought out therapy to help them learn how to help themselves. I am dedicating to working with them to achieve that. Everyone has a right to a happy life.
