I am not currently accepting new clients. I am a child & adolescent therapist, with a focus on helping children with ADHD & co-occurring disorders. Often children are reacting to difficult life circumstances and need help processing their feelings. These problems can cause additional stress on the family and damage relationships. I work to help the child & family through the difficult time and repair relationships.
When working with young children I use play therapy. Play is a child's natural way to express their feelings more easily through toys instead of words. With older children and adults my approach to counseling is based on individual needs and focuses on empowering the client to make healthy decisions.
Finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is often the most important factor in counseling. A good relationship with your therapist will allow you to have a safe place to explore and change. I will assist you with facing difficult feelings & situations. I will help you process your feelings and support your goals for therapy.
