I help individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, self-harming behavior, impulsivity, relationship difficulties, work problems, issues with eating, as well as those struggling with creative blocks.
In my practice, I see individuals, couples and run DBT groups. My approach to treatment is integrative, including psychodynamic and behavioral approaches. While I use CBT and DBT techniques in addressing specific symptoms, treatment with me goes beyond symptom reduction to address deeply rooted issues.
Currently I am a psychologist at Psychiatry Associates FGP at NYU Medical Center. Previously, I worked as a supervising psychologist at Mt. Sinai-Beth Israel's Addiction Inpatient unit and at Roosevelt's Center for Intensive Treatment of Personality Disorders. My doctorate is from The New School and have received my training in NYC hospitals.
