I assist my clients in making positive life changes by helping them cultivate greater self-awareness and emotional flexibility. Although we start with the here and now, unresolved issues from the past often create obstacles that hold people back and cause them to feel "stuck." Working together collaboratively, I will help you identify and work through these underlying issues. Through the therapeutic process, symptoms of anxiety and depression begin to lift, making it possible to develop deeper inner peace and emotional freedom, stronger self-esteem, and more fulfilling relationships with oneself and others.
I work hard to create a safe, comforting therapeutic environment and tailor the treatment to each unique client. My style is warm, compassionate, non-judgmental, holistic, and interactive. My approach is psychodynamic but also informed by behavioral methods, mindfulness, my personal life experience, and, most of all, by being human!
