As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have been trained to work with families, couples, and individuals. What makes MFTs unique from other professionals, is the emphasis on treating issues/problems within the framework of the client's family, marital, work and community environment.
I have worked in both the private and public sectors. In addition, I volunteered at the Whitingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital for a number of years and was awarded the President's Award for Outstanding Volunteer Services for my work with cancer patients and their families.
