The focus of my practice is Trauma and Dissociation and Trauma related struggles. I currently offer counseling services for Individual Adults/Teens 16 and older. I am Certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. In addition I use Ego State Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or (ACT), Various Psychodynamic and Psychanalytic techniques and other Cognitive Behavioral techniques that have proven effective when working with trauma and dissociation.
You can learn to break free from struggles and overcome ineffective behavior patterns that prevent you from living a meaningful and enjoyable life. I view counseling as a collaborative process that requires safety and trust between client and therapist. I believe counseling is exploratory, challenging ,growth-oriented and requires a strong commitment.
