Welcome! I hope you aren't too overwhelmed looking for a therapist. It took me months to find my first counselor as an adult, but it was worth it! I specialized in seeing adults with PTSD and trauma issues. Please know that there is hope to feel better. I'm a regular guy, a nerd, a Dad, an athlete (Jiu Jitsu), socially awkward, and I love Wes Anderson movies and Star Wars. It's fine to ask for help, we all need a hand once in a while.

I use a therapy called EMDR to target the source of stress or anxiety. We work through the triggers for upsetting thoughts and feelings, replacing old patterns with new ones. Think of it as an update that scans a computer for bugs and installs an operating system that runs smoothly.

I offer my clients the best therapy experience I can. This starts by respecting the people who reach out to me by returning emails and phone calls! If I can't help you I'll do my best to point you in the right direction. I particularly enjoy helping people overcome recent stress and trauma using the Recent Traumatic Event Protocol (RTEP).
